  • 12 cherry tomatoes
  • 12 cooked bacon strips, cut in half
  • 12 small fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini)
  • 12 fresh basil leaves
  • 12 small wooden skewers

Avocado Sauce

  • 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 2 tablespoons Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Prepare the avocado sauce: Place the avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper in a blender or food processor. Blend until completely smooth and creamy. Transfer the sauce to a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Assemble the skewers: Thread one cherry tomato onto a wooden skewer, then add a folded basil leaf, followed by a mozzarella ball, a piece of cooked bacon, and finish with another cherry tomato. Repeat this process for all 12 skewers and arrange them on a serving platter.
  3. Serve: Present the skewers alongside the avocado sauce for dipping. For best flavor and appearance, add the avocado sauce just before serving to prevent browning.
