Ingredients
Scale
Flatbread & Base
- 2 flatbreads (about 14.5 oz total)
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- ½ cup buffalo wing sauce
Toppings
- 1½ cups diced cooked chicken (rotisserie or leftover chicken)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- â…“ cup blue cheese dressing
- â…“ cup sliced green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven & Prepare Flatbreads: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the flatbreads on a parchment-lined baking sheet and brush the edges lightly with olive oil. Bake them for about 5 minutes to achieve a slightly crisp texture on the crust.
- Assemble the Flatbreads: Remove the flatbreads from the oven. Spread the buffalo wing sauce evenly over each flatbread, followed by an even layer of diced cooked chicken and shredded mozzarella cheese. Drizzle the blue cheese dressing across the toppings for extra flavor.
- Bake Until Golden: Return the flatbreads to the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the edges turn golden brown. For a crispier cheese topping, broil them on high for the last 1 to 2 minutes carefully watching to avoid burning.
- Garnish & Serve: Remove the flatbreads from the oven and sprinkle sliced green onions on top. Optionally, drizzle additional buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing if you prefer more intense flavor. Slice into pieces and serve hot for the best taste experience.
Notes
- Use rotisserie or leftover cooked chicken for convenience and flavor.
- Broiling at the end is optional but enhances the cheese’s texture and color.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to control the heat level.
- Flatbreads can vary in size; adjust ingredient quantities accordingly.
- For a dairy-free option, substitute blue cheese dressing and mozzarella with vegan alternatives.
