Ingredients
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (15-oz) can chili with or without beans
- 1 cup salsa
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC) to prepare for baking the dip evenly.
- Layer the Dip: Spread the softened cream cheese evenly in the bottom of an 8-inch round pan. Next, layer the chili over the cream cheese, spreading it carefully. Then, evenly spread the salsa over the chili layer. Finally, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the salsa to cover the dip completely.
- Bake the Dip: Bake the assembled dip uncovered in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the dip is hot and bubbly and the cheese is melted and slightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
- Serve: Serve the warm chili cheese salsa dip with your choice of chips, celery sticks, or bell pepper slices for dipping.
Notes
- You can use mild or spicy chili depending on your heat preference.
- For a smoother dip, make sure the cream cheese is softened before spreading.
- Try substituting cheddar cheese with Monterey Jack or a Mexican blend for a different flavor.
- This dip can be made ahead and reheated before serving.
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
