Ingredients
- 1 (13.9-oz) can refrigerated orange cinnamon rolls
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375ºF to ensure it’s at the right temperature for baking the cinnamon bones evenly.
- Prepare the Dough: Separate the cinnamon rolls from the can and unroll each dough piece. Cut each unrolled cinnamon roll in half to create 16 smaller dough pieces. Then, carefully cut the ends of each half strip about an inch down the middle to form four sections. Roll or pinch these four flaps into small knobs resembling bone ends.
- Bake: Place the shaped dough pieces onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a non-stick surface. Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the cinnamon bones are golden brown and cooked through.
- Frost: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before frosting. Use the icing included with the cinnamon rolls to generously frost each bone-shaped roll, adding sweetness and finishing the treat perfectly.
Notes
- You can use any flavor of refrigerated cinnamon rolls if you prefer a different taste profile.
- For more crispiness, bake a minute or two longer, but keep an eye to prevent burning.
- These cinnamon bones are great for Halloween parties or as a fun breakfast treat.
- Let the rolls cool slightly before frosting to prevent the icing from melting too much.
