Dry Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond flour
- 1/2 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Wet Ingredients
- 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup almond milk
Optional
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Glaze
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon almond milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
- Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, combine almond flour, oat flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Whisk them thoroughly to ensure they are evenly distributed.
- Add wet ingredients: Pour in melted coconut oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and almond milk into the dry mixture. Stir the ingredients together until a thick, cohesive dough forms.
- Incorporate pecans: If you choose to use them, fold the chopped pecans gently into the dough to add a lovely crunch and nutty flavor.
- Press the dough: Transfer the dough into the prepared baking pan and press it evenly to create a uniform layer.
- Bake the bars: Place the pan in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool down: Allow the bars to cool completely in the baking pan to set properly before adding the glaze.
- Prepare the glaze: In a small bowl, mix powdered sugar, almond milk, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Glaze and serve: Drizzle the glaze generously over the cooled bars. Slice into squares and serve your delicious Cinnamon Roll Bliss Bars.
Notes
- You can omit the pecans for a nut-free version.
- Use parchment paper to make removing the bars from the pan easier.
- Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
- For a sweeter glaze, adjust the powdered sugar quantity to taste.
- If oat flour is unavailable, you can make your own by grinding oats in a food processor until fine.
