Description

Ferrero Rocher Tiffin is a decadent no-bake dessert combining rich milk chocolate, creamy Nutella, crunchy digestive biscuits, and chopped hazelnuts. This layered treat is topped with whole Ferrero Rocher halves and chocolate, making it a perfect indulgent snack or party treat that sets in the fridge.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 700 grams milk chocolate
  • 250 grams Nutella
  • 150 grams unsalted butter

Mix-ins

  • 150 grams digestive biscuits, broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 100 grams hazelnut wafers (optional), broken into bite-sized pieces
  • 100 grams chopped roasted hazelnuts (optional)
  • 300 grams Ferrero Rocher (1 box)

Instructions

  1. Prepare tin: Line a 9×9 inch baking tin with parchment paper or foil to ensure easy removal of the tiffin later.
  2. Prepare chocolate and hazelnuts: Chop the Ferrero Rocher chocolates in half, reserving 16 halves for decoration on top. Break the digestive biscuits and hazelnut wafers into bite-sized pieces and combine them with the chopped hazelnuts in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Melt chocolate and butter: In a saucepan over low to medium heat, gently melt the butter and Nutella together. Add 400 grams of the chopped milk chocolate to the pan and let it sit for a few minutes, then stir the mixture until it is smooth and fully combined.
  4. Combine ingredients: Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the bowl containing the biscuit and nut mixture. Stir thoroughly until all the dry ingredients are fully coated and there are no dry pockets remaining. Press this mixture firmly into the prepared baking tin. Place the tin in the refrigerator for 30 minutes to firm up.
  5. Decorate: Melt the remaining 300 grams of chocolate and pour it over the chilled tiffin layer, smoothing it out evenly with a spatula. Arrange the reserved Ferrero Rocher halves on top in a 4 by 4 grid pattern and scatter any remaining chopped hazelnuts over the chocolate layer for added texture and decoration.
  6. Set: Return the tin to the refrigerator and leave it to set firmly for about 2 hours. Once fully set, remove from the tin and cut into pieces. Serve chilled and enjoy this rich, crunchy treat.

Notes

  • You can omit the hazelnut wafers and chopped hazelnuts if you want a simpler texture.
  • Use a sharp knife warmed in hot water to make cleaner cuts through the tiffin.
  • The tiffin should be kept refrigerated until serving to maintain firmness.
  • This recipe is best enjoyed within 3-4 days stored in an airtight container in the fridge.
  • If you prefer a nuttier flavor, consider adding toasted hazelnuts or swapping digestive biscuits for graham crackers.
