- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 Tbsp taco seasoning
- 1¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup salsa
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF to ensure it’s at the right temperature for baking the dip evenly.
- Mix and Layer: In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and taco seasoning until well mixed. Spread this mixture evenly into the bottom of a 1-quart baking dish. Spoon the salsa evenly over the cream cheese layer, then sprinkle the remaining ¾ cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top of the salsa layer.
- Bake the Dip: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, with lightly golden edges. Remove from oven and let cool slightly before serving.
