Description

Million Dollar Deviled Eggs are a rich and flavorful twist on classic deviled eggs, featuring a creamy filling made with mayonnaise, sweet pickle juice, and butter, enhanced with crispy bacon and a hint of mustard. Perfect as an elegant appetizer or party snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Eggs

  • 6 hard-boiled eggs, cooled and peeled

Filling

  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle juice
  • 1 tablespoon butter, room temperature or softened
  • 2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Garnish

  • Paprika, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the eggs: Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks. Place the yolks in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Make the filling: Add mayonnaise, sweet pickle juice, butter, crumbled bacon, mustard, salt, and pepper to the bowl with the yolks. Mix until the filling is smooth and creamy. For an extra-smooth texture, push the mixture through a sieve.
  3. Fill the egg whites: Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves evenly.
  4. Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with paprika and optionally garnish with fresh herbs or additional crumbled bacon for added flavor.
  5. Storage: Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to enjoy. Deviled eggs are best served chilled.

Notes

  • For an ultra-smooth filling, pressing the mixture through a fine sieve is recommended.
  • Use fresh, high-quality eggs for best results.
  • Cook bacon until crisp to add a crunchy texture to the filling.
  • Can be garnished with parsley, chives, or additional bacon crumbles for extra flavor.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 2 days.
