Description

Tender and flavorful slow cooker steak bites made with sirloin steak, infused with a savory sauce of soy, Worcestershire, and spices. This easy recipe features an optional searing step for added depth of flavor, and is perfect for serving over mashed potatoes, rice, or vegetables.

Ingredients

Scale

Beef

  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Optional Garnish

  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Sear the Steak (Optional but Recommended): Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear steak bites in batches for 2–3 minutes until browned on all sides. Transfer to a slow cooker.
  2. Mix the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slow Cook: Pour the sauce over the steak bites in the slow cooker. Stir to coat evenly. Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours until the meat is fork-tender.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy over mashed potatoes, rice, or your favorite low-carb veggie.

Notes

  • Searing the steak is optional but adds a richer flavor and better texture.
  • For a gluten-free version, use tamari instead of soy sauce.
  • Adjust cooking time slightly if the steak pieces are larger or smaller.
  • Can be served with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed vegetables.
